Gold Glass Through the Ages, 28 March 2009, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, New York

A Roundtable to be held at The Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (NYU) in conjonction with the current exhibition of an Early Byzantine Gold Glass Panel from Caesarea, Israel, on display in the Mary and Michael Jaharis Galleries of Byzantine Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (see below).

After the roundtable, participants can go to the Metropolitan Museum for further discussion of the Gold Glass Panel. On Sunday March 29 at 3:00, Yael Gorin-Rosen will give a presentation on Ancient Glass in the Holy Land. Both events free with museum admission. Source
