Byzantine Studies Conference CFP deadline extended

The 35th Annual Byzantine Studies Conference (BSC) will be held at Florida State University's Sarasota Campus, including the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art from Thursday evening, November 5, through Sunday lunch, November 8. The conference is an annual forum for the presentation and discussion of papers on every aspect of Byzantine studies, and is open to all, regardless of nationality or academic status. It is also the occasion of the annual meeting of the Byzantine Studies Association of North America (BSANA). For full details, please see our website

We welcome proposals on any aspect of Byzantine studies. See further suggestions for topics at the website. to deliver your paper at the BSC, you must be a member of BSANA in good standing : the membership form is online at http://www.bsana.net/membershipform.pdf 

Proposals consist of a cover sheet with your proposed title and your contact information and, on separate pages, two copies of an abstract of no more than 500 words, formatted and submitted according to the instructions at the website. Email this document to the BSANA Vice President, Adam Schor (Adam.Schor@liu.edu) before April 10.
